Skip Free, the creation of songwriter KMeg, offers a new inspiring take on music. The free-form style of production draws inspiration from many genres. The artists, including showcased singers, instrumentalists, engineers, and lyricists, demonstrate a variety of talents.
KMeg takes on the role of producer, rap lead vocalist, emcee, and collaborator. He began rapping and making beats under the influence of Nelbone and DJ Thief. Early four-track demos evolved into using a DAW, learning production, and lyrically collaborating with Adeeb and the late Professor Pitt among others.
KMeg admits, 'music of all genres is alluring, and listeners should expect some experimentation; especially as this project is aptly named Skip Free'.
